Meet the Team

Hi. I'm Kelly.  I have worked here for 22 years and I absolutely love our little preschool, wouldn't want to be anywhere else!

I have 2 grown up sons who both attended the preschool and a gorgeous granddaughter and 2 more on the way this year! I have had the privilege of caring for so many wonderful children over the years and have seen them grow into lovely young adults and feel very lucky to have been a small part of their lives. Outside of preschool I love spending time with friends and family. I love to bake and can easily lose myself in the kitchen for hours at a time.

Hi my name is Jasmin.  I have been working here at Rush Green Preschool since 2012.  I started off as a volunteer whilst completing my Level 3 Qualification and loved working with the children so much that when i was offered the job, I gladly accepted it.  I enjoy working here as the environment is extremely friendly and caring.  I am a mum of two and outside of work i enjoy cooking for them.  my hobby of cooking has been useful in my job, as i do different cooking activities with the children, helping them develop different skills.

My name us Karen. I have been at Rush Green Preschool for 24 years.  I have obtained my NVQ Level 3 and 4 as an early years practitioner and also a qualification Level 3 special educational needs.  I still have the same passion for my job as I did when I first started many moons ago.  To see a child grow and develop is still wonderful to see.  I cannot imagine myself doing anything else.  outside of work I have 2 grown up children and 2 adorable grandchildren.  I am a keen gardener.

 Hi, I am Lisa and I have been in childcare for many years.  I have two grown up children and I love spending time with my family and friends.  I have been working with your wonderful children since January 2022, I originally started as maternity cover and was offered a great opportunity by the lovely management to stay full time, which I accepted straightaway.  I am now working full time whilst undertaking a level 3 childcare course.  I am key person to orange group, and it is a pleasure to work alongside all your children and being part of a lovely supportive team. 

 Hello I’m Sarah.  I started working at Rush Green Preschool in September 2022.  I am currently studying for my Level 3 Early years practitioner qualification.  All three of my children attended Rush Green Preschool and seeing first hand how lovely it was, I was excited to start working here.  The staff are really supportive and so welcoming.  It is great being able to work in a job that means you see children grow into their own little person and know that you’ve played a part in that and all the fun that comes with working with children.  Outside of the preschool I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. 

 Hi, I’m Laura and have been lucky enough to work at Rush Green Preschool since October 2022. I have two grown up children, both of whom attended the preschool, and spend my free time with them, my friends and our two Old English Sheepdogs, who are much worse behaved than my children ever were! I have worked as a childminder for the past 13 years and jumped at the opportunity to still work with children but have my house remain tidy! I spend my day at the preschool being a train, a lion tamer, a hairdressers model, anything their little imaginations can come up with and of course, having the funniest chats and the best hugs! Preschool children are my favourite age group, and seeing their individual personalities grow and thrive in such a caring supportive environment, is a real privilege.
